Throw the whole year away! Have you heard that? Have you said that? Yea, me too. And that’s okay I get it. It’s been a tough one so far and we’ve got a little over three months to go. But check this out, we don’t have to throw ANYTHING away. We simply need to Begin Again…this mediation challenge starts with a simple reset.

Monday

Today starts the beginning of the week and there’s no telling what lies ahead. What I do know is that when we are our truest , highest selves we are more likely to navigate whatever it is ahead.

Tuesday

We can’t lose what we cling to, and yet one of our most human reactions is to cling to the thing we desperately want to have. This causes us so much suffering. But the good news is that suffering is optional. All we need to do is open our hands.

Wednesday

It takes what it takes. If you follow me, you’ve probably heard me say this, or have seen me write this in my captions on social media posts, or as a theme in my blog posts. I repeat this to myself often because it’s true. It takes what it takes. All required of us is the willingness to do the work required.

Thursday

“Take care of yourself.” We hear it often, we know that we should and yet it’s not often we turn our awareness towards taking care of ourselves until we absolutely have to. And although it’s better late than never, there’s no time like the present to find out what feels good, what nourishes you and to go do THAT.

Friday

It’s Friday, how are you feeling. Have the decisions you’ve made this week contributed to good energy and positive momentum? Or are you feeling drained and battered? Does it make you wonder if you’re doing the right thing? Pursuing the right goals? In the right job? With the right person? We take our cues from some many things outside of us to validate our choices in terms of our “paths” but guess what…you don’t need to.

Saturday

Sometimes the burdens we carry manifest themselves as tension or pain in the body. Sending our awareness and breath throughout the entire body keeps us grounded and also can promote a deep sense of relaxation. For this reason, this meditation is also great to do before bed. You’ll notice it ends differently, and that’s so that if you fall asleep you can stay asleep if you’d like. Try it this morning, AND try it tonight!
