Yoga With Tianna
Yoga has played a huge role in Tianna’s life, not just as an athlete but as a human. It was yoga that helped her sleep when training became so intense her central nervous system struggled to go offline. It was yoga where she cultivated the stillness and body awareness required for consistent high performance. And it was yoga that taught her her value as a woman reminding her of her inherent worth.
To learn more about the practice that changed her life Tianna travelled to Love Story Yoga Studio to train under owner and TedX speaker Stephanie Snyder with support from fellow Yoginis Nichol Chase, Susannah Freedman. As a result, Tianna earned her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in 2018.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic Tianna decided to teach online for the first time as a way to both stay connected and engaged with friends, fans, and followers, and to share a practice she loves so much.

Class Descriptions
Yin Yoga: Is a type of yoga practice that features deep breathing, long holds, and deep stretches to encourage maximum relaxation and fascial release. Props such as yoga blocks, a strap, blankets, pillows or bolsters are encouraged. There are no standing poses in these Yin classes, and poses are held for 2-5 minutes.
Breathe and Move: Saturday’s donation based beginner’s yoga class is a Vinyasa flow. This means that each pose is linked to the one before it. We rarely stop moving in this class. Moving energy, and linking movement to breath is the goal of this class.
